Sixteenth-Note Rock Beat Alternating Sticking & Kick Additions

This lesson introduces an alternative, open-handed method for playing the sixteenth-note rock beat useful for faster tempos and feels that require a powerful, driving sixteenth-note hi-hat groove. First we build up the basic beat, then add a set of eighth-note and sixteenth-note bass drum variations.
