This 3-part lesson expands on the eighth-note rock beat and contains 112 exercises – all based on adding & subtracting bass drum notes in various eighth-note positions in the bar. Part 3 consists of a set of common and useful variations often found in rock & pop music. Some beats in this lesson were covered in parts 1 & 2, although most are new beats.
