Eighth-Note Open Hi-Hat Beats Part 1

This lesson introduces basic open hi-hat patterns to the eighth-note rock beat by placing open/closed hi-hat notes in different eighth-note positions in the bar. If you’re comfortable playing the eighth-note rick beat this lesson will be a fun co-ordination challenge and give you ideas on how to add flavour to your beats.
